Trois images de Magali - Michel Lysight

Three melodies inspired by three images of a love relationship: rapture (Rue du Midi), union (Rue Philippe de Champagne) and fading (These violent delights have violent ends). The first melody has a lyrical character: the piano exposes a motif taken up in a loop while the voice unfolds on it by taking up, among others, this same motif in rhythmic diminution. The second one uses the spoken voice. The text is recited on the impressionistic music of the piano, which gives a change of color compared to the two extreme parts of the triptych. The third has a lively, passionate and rhythmic character, both for the piano and for the voice.
