5 Valses miniatures - Jean-Claude Gengembre

I dedicate these 5 miniature waltzes to Anne Le Roy-Petit and Mathieu Petit, both soloists at the National Orchestra of Lille, sponsors and dedicatees of these pieces. I thank them wholeheartedly for their precious help in the elaboration of these short musical moments.

My titles are there above all to give indications of character to the musicians and to transmit to the audience certain feelings like joy, sadness, surprise, etc... Irony is important in particular in the 3rd piece where the exaggeration of the dynamics will not be bad to use.

I wish the performers as much pleasure in playing these waltzes as I had in writing them.
