Les amours du poète - Robert Schumann

We enter this album as one might open a private diary: that of a teenager discovering Schumann, and then of a mature artist returning to this music with the experience of a lifetime of concerts. The Fantasiestücke, the Romances and the song cycle Dichterliebe are not presented here as a simple “Schumann for clarinet and piano” programme; they trace the thread of a personal story, that of Romain Guyot, and of an artistic encounter with Chloe Mun.
