Chants de l'Aube et du Soir is a lyrical duet drawing its inspiration from the French melody genre.
Despite the singular identity of the composer Cyril Achard, the inspiration of the masters is clearly perceptible through the hovering shadow of Fauré, Ravel and Poulenc, to name only the most influential.
The relationship and the search for balance between poetry and music remain a primary concern here. The requirement and the precaution granted to the choice of the author are so many signs attesting this deep will. Fabrice Hadjadj is a writer and poet of the first rank.
