Concertos
Hailed by the critics for his latest album devoted to the Master of Chamber Music Gabriel Fauré, Damien Ventula returns with his first album as a soloist accompanied by the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra. This time again, French music will be in the spotlight with Camille Saint-Saëns' famous concerto op.33 transcribed by Gilles Colliard for cello and string orchestra, but also a premiere with Thierry Huillet's concerto op.99 which was written for him. All this is completed by three little gems for cello and orchestra, including Maurice Ravel's Habanera.
